This is the case of a young girl who disappeared in Toronto on her way home. A three month search, leads to the recovery of her remains and two people arrested.

Tori or Victoria was the daughter of Tara Stafford and Rodney Stafford who are residents of Toronto. Her case of disappearance has been a long one which has been filled with emotions, commotions, twists and turns that have seen stirring of bitter rivalry between a husband and his divorced wife. Tori Stafford, an eight year old girl was schooling in Woodstock school up until her disappearance on April 8th 2009, while on her way home from school to 21st July when a body of a young girl was found, linked and confirmed to be that of Tori Stafford.

It all begun when little Tori was walking home from school alone which was not supposed to be a member of the family was supposed to pick her. On her way she is met a woman who takes her, that's according to the surveillance camera that had that clue. a search is launched but it goes on up until April 13th when it was officially called off, but the police still when on with the search with the help of the OPP. still nothing was found. April 13 saw the first slightest breakthrough when a composite portrait of a suspect was released which turned out to be similar to Tori's mom. This was done with help of a witness, but she denied anything to do with the disappearance of her daughter.

it was therefore until July 21st that the remains of a young girl were found in Mt. Forest Ontario, the remains then turned out to be Tori's, after a forensic examination at Toronto's Centre of Forensic Sciences. Two suspects- Terri-Lynne McClintic and Michael Rafferty- have since been arrested and linked to the death of Tori Stafford. Their cases will be heard December 16th and December 18th 2009 respectively.
