Many if not all know it as Jon and Kate plus eight. Produced by Figure 8 films, Jon and Kate is an American reality TV show about the Gosselin Family. The Gosselin family with parent being Jon and Kate consist of eight children who are fraternal twins and sextuplets. Jon and Kate plus eight follow the Gosselin family’s daily life and the struggles involved in bringing up the eight kids. The dramas involved in the drama where many form the public claiming that Kate never loved her husband to Jon emptying the bank.
Jon and Kate met on October 5th 1997 during a picnic and later married on June 12th 1999. Their first challenge was infertility which was overcome and first pregnancy brought twins to the family, who were born six minutes apart. Their desire of children later saw them have sextuplets on March 10th 2004 delivered by surgery. However the separation of Jon and Kate saw ranking of the TV series decline.
Recent critics revealed that, the eight children were being exploited and were under emotional and psychological distress, allegations which Kate denied, claiming they were all under good conditions and were happy with whatever that was going on. The latest from the Jon and Kate series has been scheduled for January 12th 2010 named The Big Changes which is season five.
