A toolbox play a major role in carrying equipments of work or others will be used to carry jewelry. There are many types and range from size to material that makes it. In buying one this therefore has to be put in mind. 

You can call it a tool chest but others call it a workbox. A toolbox is used to organize the relevant equipments one uses in his or her work. In IT a toolbox is used fro database management. The purpose of a general toolbox is to keep safe and well organize the materials of work hence the process of looking for specific equipments. Others will be expensively made and include pieces of gold or diamond. Toolboxes have lids that are hinged to the base chest that holds the equipments as the lid closes over. For ease of carriage, the toolboxes have a handle. In some other types, the toolbox can have smaller compartments inside to make the arrangement easier and manageable. Other types have drawer chest. 

When choosing the type of toolbox one need, it must click at the back of the mind the uses that the toolbox will be used in. if its jewelry holding, the steel that is reinforced with diamond will do but for mechanical tools, steel alone will do. Size also matters as larges tool require more space. Alternatives of carrying tool has seen emergence of other carriers like tool belts, tool sets and bucket-organizers.
