John Travolta's son Jett



Jett Travolta was John Travolta and Kelly Preston's only son (born on April 13, 1992; died on January 2, 2009 at around 10 am in the Bahamas)

Hollywood star john Travolta’s Jett Travolta died on January 2 2009 which was on a Friday morning in Bahamas. Sources had it that Jett Travolta had a reported history of frequent seizures which had contributed to his death by making him hit his head on the bathtub. It was a traumatizing moment for the Travolta family with the death of their only son and brother. The seizure were said to be due to a rare medical condition known as Kawasaki disease, which leads to swollen arteries or even blockage.

John Travolta and his son Jett were said to be of best friends beyond the father-son relationship, in that the death of Jett Travolta really disturbed John psychologically. His seizures were said to last for up to 45 minutes of every 5 to 10 days followed by a 12 hour sleep.

In the Travolta’s home all measures had been put to deal with the seizure when it happened. From having a caretaker sleep only eight feet away from Jett to having the room spacious and a chimer on the bathroom door to announce when Jett Travolta went in, this was all done to keep their only and dear son comfort during such times. Reports had it that, the remains of john Travolta’s son Jett were cremated in Bahamas.

The Pirates Bay


This is one of the largest and mostly used websites in file sharing. It has many of the software and applications that are currently crucial in running computers plus others digital products like music albums and videos.

It calls its self ‘The World's most resilient bit torrent site’ The Pirates Bay or abbreviated as TPB, is a Swedish website that hosts and indexes torrent. Alexa ranks TPB number 105 among the most popular website's in the current world. Founded in November 2003 under Swedish Anti-copyright organization Pirate Bryan, TPB runs now on its own and depends on the adverts to finance its operation. Recent reviews revealed that, it receives more than US$150,000 per year from adverts only. The Pirate Bay is organized in a way that, those who will want to download torrents that they current have no access to can still find them with other users by searching the pirate bay.

TPB can be said to be a library of both legally available and illegal data online. it has groups like; Audio, Video, Applications, Games, Other and Porn ( that is only visible to registered users only). To register at TPB, one will need a valid email address to confirm his or her membership with TPB, and to even be getting the latest updates from the TPB crew. A browser feature is availed to enable users to browse through the available contents. To be more precise, each group is further subdivided into sub-categories. The TPB website from page features a Pirate ship with the 80s anti-copy right embedment ' Home Taping is Killing Music'.

The Pirates Bay has rose with so many controversies and cases of which many claim that, it was making available copy right protected data available for downloading on its website, with most recent case trial seen the four its operators convicted to one year imprisonment, on17th April 2009, however appeals are under way.

Victoria Stafford case



This is the case of a young girl who disappeared in Toronto on her way home. A three month search, leads to the recovery of her remains and two people arrested.

Tori or Victoria was the daughter of Tara Stafford and Rodney Stafford who are residents of Toronto. Her case of disappearance has been a long one which has been filled with emotions, commotions, twists and turns that have seen stirring of bitter rivalry between a husband and his divorced wife. Tori Stafford, an eight year old girl was schooling in Woodstock school up until her disappearance on April 8th 2009, while on her way home from school to 21st July when a body of a young girl was found, linked and confirmed to be that of Tori Stafford.

It all begun when little Tori was walking home from school alone which was not supposed to be a member of the family was supposed to pick her. On her way she is met a woman who takes her, that's according to the surveillance camera that had that clue. a search is launched but it goes on up until April 13th when it was officially called off, but the police still when on with the search with the help of the OPP. still nothing was found. April 13 saw the first slightest breakthrough when a composite portrait of a suspect was released which turned out to be similar to Tori's mom. This was done with help of a witness, but she denied anything to do with the disappearance of her daughter.

it was therefore until July 21st that the remains of a young girl were found in Mt. Forest Ontario, the remains then turned out to be Tori's, after a forensic examination at Toronto's Centre of Forensic Sciences. Two suspects- Terri-Lynne McClintic and Michael Rafferty- have since been arrested and linked to the death of Tori Stafford. Their cases will be heard December 16th and December 18th 2009 respectively.
